Bundaberg can be a surprising place. Beneath the facade of perfect weather, turtles and relaxed lifestyle, there is a strong, driven, passionate business community who are innovative and in many cases, field leaders. The annual Bundaberg Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards recognises these incredible businesses and the people who are involved. It is an honour to be nominated and incredible to be chosen as a finalist in your category. Businesses are nominated by members of the community and without the outstanding support we have enjoyed from the people of Bundaberg and surrounds, none of this would be possible.
This year, Hinkler Podiatry was nominated in 2 categories, Personal Services and Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year. We have always made a point of bringing as many members of our team to the event as a recognition of their energy and as a small gesture of thanks. Having staff who are as professional, talented and hard-working as ours is a privilege.
We were very lucky to make the finals of our categories and needless to say, completely humbled to win them. The quality of the nominees and finalists was incredible and I know the judges choice wouldn’t have been easy. Our wins are not solely our efforts though. We work with excellent partners including Jay Daniells Web Design, Green Valley Digital Media, Wide Reach Social Media, David from Win TV, the News-Mail, Bundaberg Broadcasters and the team from Nanna’s Pantry for their most excellent coffee!
